Canon and The Ryan Seacrest Foundation

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young people through arts and creativity. The non-profit builds studios in paediatric hospitals allowing children to access equipment relating to TV, Radio and other forms of media, including photography.

Canon has teamed up with the organisation by generously donating free equipment. The line of cameras, lenses and printers includes:

  • Canon EOS R3

  • EOS R5

  • EOS R6 Mark II

  • EOS R7

  • RF28-70mm F2 L USM

  • RF15-35mm F2.8L IS USM

  • RF70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM

  • MEGATANK desktop printers

  • SELPHY wireless compact photo printers,

  • IVY CLIQ camera and mini photo printers.

Speaking about the partnership, Canon CEO, Isao Kobayashi said, “Canon is honored to partner with The Ryan Seacrest Foundation to provide equipment to Seacrest Studios across the country”. He continued, “…The company is excited to see the creative content the children produce, as well as the interns and studio teams who run the Seacrest Studios”.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation COO, Meredith Seacrest Leach, had this to say about the new relationship with Canon Cameras: “We are thrilled to have the support of Canon and grateful for their generous donation of state-of-the-art equipment.” Leach added, “Their gift provides our studios with leading resources to capture high-quality content and allows our studio staff, interns, and patients to gain skills using premier technology.”

Them Frames is confident the kind donation and the exceptional work of The Ryan Seacrest Foundation will no-doubt give children the tools needed to develop powerful relationships with their cameras, and to become top-notch photographers and videographers.

That’s it for today’s feel good story. We hope to share more stories like this from the photo industry. Kudos to Canon and The Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
