I sit down with world-renowned fine-art street photographer Phil Penman. We look at three images that have shaped his journey in photography, including one that completely changed the direction of his life.
Penman is best known for his stunning black and white photography, and his work has featured in prestigious galleries around the world, including several Leica galleries. He’s also a teacher, hosting workshops across multiple destinations, and the author of several popular photobooks including Street (2019) and Street Scenes (2025).
