Todd Coleman joins me on this episode of Them Frames That Make Us. He’s a director, photographer, and writer, and he brings with him detailed stories about some of the images he’s created throughout his career.
In this episode he shares images from his time photographing a cookbook in Japan, explaining how he uses the ethos of street photography to create the frame.
Next, Coleman discusses a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico, and how he broke bread with locals and created portraits on his iPhone, resulting in his most well-received image on social media.
We end the show looking at an image that pulls the curtain away and shows us more of what Coleman does in his day-to-day creative work, and why his passion for food and creativity fuels what he does.
