A convincing sky replacement comes down to two things: picking the right sky, then knowing what to do with it once it’s in. Most people stop at the first step, which is why the results look pasted on.
In this video I go through my full process in ON1 Photo RAW. How to read the light in your original shot and choose a sky that fits it, then every step after that: blending, cleaning up the edges, matching color and light across the whole frame, and pushing tones until the image has real weight to it.
